Kelley Cassens
BSN, RN, PMHNP Student

I obtained my Missouri RN license in 2013 and my Illinois RN license in 2014.

Shortly after becoming a nurse, I realized Psychiatric Nursing is my true passion. I began my Psychiatric Nursing career on an Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit in St. Louis, MO.

I quickly discovered a want to provide a higher level of care to patients. This want to provide a higher level of care encouraged my enrollment in PMHNP school. I am projected to graduate from the PMHNP program through SLU December, 2022.

I plan to specialize in the Psychiatric care of the pediatric and adolescent population.
